Look further afield
If finding central accommodation proves to be tricky as hotels fill up, do be sure to look further afield in towns close by, such as Lewes, Worthing, Shoreham and even Gatwick for accommodation that is easily commutable by train, taxi or bus. Websites such as booking.com are good ways to search for hotels.
Other options include using services such as Air BnB, Owners Direct and HomeAway.co.uk, to find privately rented homes and flats in the city centre or surrounding towns and villages.
These can be a cheaper option to hotels while still providing home comforts. They may even come with parking!
An affordable option for accommodation is to camp at a nearby campsite. This is becoming more common at running events around the world and is a fun way to bring all the family for less. Please see a list of campsites in the area as recommended by Brighton & Hove City Council.
The closest sites to the 10k start are at East Brighton Park and Bevendean Farm. At Bevendean you can even book a bell tent for the weekend or even a motel package with extra luxuries via PopUp Campsites.
Please note that the event will not be providing transport from these sites to the event.
